Harvey Weinstein and countless others exposed by #metoo remain free, some are even making a comeback (Louis CK WTF).

Christine Blasey Ford is in hiding while Brett Kavanaugh is on the USA Supreme Court.

Rape convictions in England and Wales are at a 10 year low and every day has brought a new story of women let down by cuts to services.

And through all this there are still some women who continue to be complicite in our own subjugation by denying harassment is a problem and by continuing to support men like Trump.

Despite all this there has been light spots, particularly for me was the #repealtheeighth campaign that brought abortion services to the Republic of Ireland. The Irish rallied for human rights and women finally won the right to control their own bodies. A long fought for and much needed victory! NI next!

Countless women have inspired me with their strength and determination in 2018.

I raise a glass to you! And the continuation of the fight in 2019!
